These pilates classes are for women only and will leave you feeling wonderful.
Pilates is based on a set of principles that exercise the whole body through a range of mat-based exercises. It’s suitable for all ages and levels of ability – and with regular practice you can make positive changes to your body. Plus it’s great for your wellbeing too.
How Pilates works
Pilates involves the co-ordination of deep postural and stability muscles – combined with breathing, arm and leg movements, postural correction and flexibility. Scientific research shows Pilates can reduce pain and improve physical function, movement and wellbeing.
APPI pilates is a little different from standard pilates classes. With 4-6 levels for each classic Pilates exercise, our method makes Pilates accessible to everyone, with any level of fitness or injury.

Postnatal Pilates:
These class are designed for mum to help you recover and regain connection with your body post birth. The classes are appropriate for mums who are at a minimum 6 weeks post vaginal birth, or 10-12 weeks post C- section. You will need to be signed off from your medical team for movement before attending.
There will be a focus on pelvic floor and core health alongside releasing areas that may be tight in your body since becoming a mum .
The class runs in blocks and there is currently a wait list as the class is very popular. Please add your name here if you would like to be added.

Reformer Pilates:
Our Pilates Reformer sessions offer a full-body workout that focuses on building strength, flexibility, and core stability. Using the Reformer machine, these sessions provide a unique, low-impact way to work your muscles, improve posture, and increase range of motion. Reformer Pilates is ideal for women at all fitness levels, offering customisable resistance and targeted support to challenge and enhance your body’s natural movement patterns.
Whether you’re a beginner or experienced, Reformer Pilates can be tailored to your specific goals, helping you develop a balanced, strong, and resilient body.
The sessions are held at my home studio in Girton and can be based on an ad hoc basis.
FEEL GOOD PILATES 3 WEEK AT HOME PROGRAMME- £30 Now £20
A selection of short pilates sessions ( no more than 20 mins) to help you feel great over the holidays. It can feel a challenge to get to classes or to keep exercising over the holidays, so these short videos are to help you keep moving in a manageable way, that fit’s easily into your day.
The exercises are for mixed ability and some are more challenging than others. You will receive 2 workouts each week and you can choose to do them once, or as many times as you like during the week. Every week 2 new videos will drop.
You will also receive a plant based recipe ebook to give you some inspiration with your nutrition.
This is a whole body approach to becoming more mobile, creating more strength and balance in your day to day life.
You will need a cushion and hand weights for two of the sessions.
You will have access for 6 months.
Pilates for women
Women only pilates
These classes are open to all women and there is an emphasis on pelvic floor, integrated breathing and core work, so my classes are ideal for mums or women peri to postmenopausal. The workout is low impact and can be adapted for all fitness levels.
I plan the classes to give you a whole body workout, in the hope you will leave feeling better than when you came in.
The classes are friendly, fun and there are options for all levels of fitness.
Classes need to be paid for in advance but you are welcome to make up the missed session in any of my other classes during the term with 24 hours notice (spaces permitted)
Added extras:
I often do give aways in the class, most recently with pilates socks, Sweaty Betty purses and online memberships.
I also try and bring in some healthier snacks every now and again to refuel all the ladies taking part in the class.
Term dates:
Classes run alongside school term times. They currently run at my home studio in Girton and Storey’s Field Centre, Eddington
Where:
Storey’s Field Centre, Eddington : This beautiful hall is perfect for this class. On street parking just outside using the parking App Just park. Your first hour is free. Otherwise parking at the Madingley road park for free and ride with a short walk to the centre.
Thornton Way, Girton, Cambridge: You can park on my drive or on street. The exact address will be sent on booking your spot. The studio is based in my garden.
